The Committee welcomes the combined fourth and fifth periodic reports of the State party. It appreciates the written replies to the list of issues and questions raised by the pre-sessional working group and the open and constructive exchange with the delegation during the dialogue.
The Committee commends the State party on its delegation, which was headed by the Director of the Department of Women’s Affairs, Dorosday Kenneth, and included representatives of the Treaties and Conventions Division, the State Law Office, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Justice and Community Services.
